91原创鈥檚 (GGC) undergraduate research team, comprised of GGC students Shone Cherian, Tamera Crawford, Ewura Ama Awere, Anthony Damian and Jennifer Jimenez鈥慔ernandez, was selected to present at the 2026 Posters at the Georgia State Capitol, a competitive, peer鈥憆eviewed research showcase organized by the Georgia Undergraduate Research Collective and held on February 17, 2026. Posters at the Georgia State Capitol is an annual event to spotlight innovative student research that demonstrates methodological rigor, strong faculty mentorship and relevance to Georgia鈥檚 civic and economic priorities. Participating students have the opportunity to share their work directly with state officials and higher education policymakers. The team, mentored by Dr. Sairam Tangirala, professor of physics, and Dr. Tae Song Lee, associate professor of physics, presented their poster titled 鈥淢apping the Moon鈥檚 Surface using Project DORA: Dynamic Objective鈥慠eaching Autonomous Rovers,鈥 showcasing interdisciplinary research in robotic autonomy, extraterrestrial terrain mapping and mission鈥憆elevant engineering 鈥 fields increasingly important in Georgia鈥檚 expanding aerospace and technology sectors.
